The Profownd Project

The Profownd Project is, by definition, an intense undertaking by a student, typically as a long-term task that requires independent research.

Hi, I am Profownd and I am embarking on a journey that started years ago.

A little bit about myself. Well, I am a New Yorker by birth and a globetrotter by occupation. I have seen the deserts of Kuwait, the mountains of Afghanistan and the deserts of Iraq. I have seen the hills of Georgia, the woodlands of Tennessee and tasted the fried delicacies of Alabama. I have enjoyed the tourism of Puerto Rico, the taxes of California and the culture of South Korea. I have been a logistics coordinator, a janitor, a therapist, a mentor, a teacher, a friend, a husband, a boyfriend, a boy and a man. I have seen and done a lot in my 33 years on this beautiful planet…but, I have only done a few of these things at my leisure. Most of my adventures were out of necessity and some out of fear. Well, screw necessity and I’m no longer afraid!

That being said, The Profownd Project is my venture into living MY life by MY rules. Not only is it about me, it’s about YOU. You, who choose to join me on this journey, I beg that you see yourself in a new way. I hope to impact those who know what they are capable of, but feel like the risk is far too great. I hope to impact those who have always studied long and hard to no avail. I hope to impact those who just need that push to give society even an inkling of their awesome.
